What is AlbumLinks?

AlbumLinks makes physical links — stickers, cards, and tags — that connect something you own to an album, artist, or playlist on the streaming service you choose. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

• Account info — your email address, used to sign in with a login code. We don't use passwords for customer accounts.
• Collection data — the AlbumLinks you own or have scanned, the albums, lists, pins, and journal entries you save, so your collection is there when you come back.
• Order info — for physical purchases made directly through us (not Etsy), your shipping address and email, so we can fulfill the order. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Scan data — whenever an AlbumLink is scanned (by the owner or anyone else), we log the timestamp, approximate location (from IP address), device/browser type, whether it was tapped (NFC) or scanned (QR), and which streaming service was opened.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the core experience — signing you in, storing your collection, and routing scans to the right streaming service.
• To fulfill and ship physical orders.
• To show link owners basic activity on their own AlbumLinks (e.g. how many times a link has been scanned).
• To fix bugs and improve the site through aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not run ad-tracking or third-party analytics scripts on the site.
• We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to AlbumLinks.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in our database on infrastructure we operate directly. We use HTTPS encryption in transit and follow standard security practices to keep your data safe.

Third-Party Services

• Deezer — album art, metadata, audio previews, and search results come from the Deezer API. We don't send Deezer any personal account information.
• Stripe — payment processing for on-site purchases and Pro subscriptions. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment details you give them directly.
• Resend — sends your login codes and order confirmation emails.
• Etsy — if you buy AlbumLinks stickers through our Etsy shop, that purchase is subject to Etsy's own privacy policy, not this one.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Ask which AlbumLinks are registered to your account, or dispute ownership of one, by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

AlbumLinks is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated on this page.
